- If you don't have the chat widget or icon already implemented on your website, implement it by following the widget tutorial or the icon tutorial.
- On your website, click the “Open Full Size Window” icon on your widget. If you have implemented the icon, just click on it.

- On your chat window, copy its URL address.

- Use the URL in your email client to insert a direct link to the window or use an image to link your email to your Live Chat.
Implement a Chat icon in your email message
- When composing a new email, click the Image icon above the text editing box

- Upload your image (don't have one? browse ours).

- Once it has been uploaded, select the image and click the Link icon.

- Paste the URL you just copied from the Chat window, inside the “To what URL should this link go?” field. Leave the “Text to display” area blank. Click “Test this link” and you should see the chat window right away. Click OK to save the changes.

- If the setup is correct, you should see the URL information if you click the image.

Once it has been inserted and linked, the image should look like below. With a click on the image, you will be able to reach the HelpOnClick chat window.

Implement a Chat text link in your email message
- When composing a new email, click the Link icon, above your Gmail text editor.

- Select “Web address” and insert the copied URL into the “To what URL should this link go?” field. Choose the text to display and click OK. You can also test the link before saving – you should see the chat window.

- Once this is done, a link will be inserted into your email, like below.

The link will lead directly to the Chat window.
